An Ohio Network of Writer's Support Groups and Resources
Here is some great information on area writer's groups, retreats,
workshops and other opportunities
in the Northern and Central Ohio areas. Please do not contact me,
but instead use
the correct contact information listed. If you have such a group or event in this
area with a consistent calendar, or if you can be emailed for more info,
(personal phone # is ill-advised) you can
send it to me on my Contact page (only) and I will try to list that information on this page.
Website content will not be changed more often than bi-monthly, so make sure your info fits
within
that time frame. A dependable month, time, day(such as "third Tuesdays each month")
and location for all meetings is preferable. Events will be given preference for one appearance.

Writers - Plan to attend a Conference, Seminar, or Workshop!
The Greater Canton Writers Guild meets the 3rd Wednesday of each
month 6:30 PM at the
North Canton Public Library, 185 North Main Street, North Canton, Ohio. Meetings

Akron Manuscript Club meetings - Second Sundays of the month, at 2:00 PM, at
the Jerry Shaw Jewish Community Center of Akron, at 750 South White Pond Drive. Each meeting
consists of a business portion followed by a reading/critique portion. Those wishing to have
literary items critiqued by the club's members, should bring about six copies of each work to pass

The Maumee Valley Romance Writers of America meets every fourth Saturday of the month
at the Holland Branch library on McCord Road in Holland, Ohio, from 10 am to noon.

Wayne County Writers' Guild's meeting on the second Tuesdays monthly
from 6:30-8:30 at Wayne Center for the Arts, 237 South Walnut Street, Wooster. It is especially
helpful if poets bring copies of their work to hand out. Bring up to five pages to share.

Coshocton Public Library 655 Main Street, Coshocton from 6-8PM.
